You will shortly receive by mail a list of the payees you had registered in Citibank Bill Pay that were successfully converted to the Banco Popular.
* For example: If you paid Puerto Rico Power Authority (AEE) in Citibank, we will pre-register your AEE account number in Banco Popular’s Bill Pay service to facilitate setting-up your payments.
To register new payees, you may call 787-724-3659 or 1-888-724-3659 or by sign-on to Internet Banking at www.popular.com.
*Payments
If you had recurring payments in Citibank, you must setup these payments again after December 1st 2007. Recurring payments will not be converted. It is important to call us at 787-724-3659 or 1-888-724-3659 or sign-on to Internet Banking to make these payments.
*Payment methods Electronic payments - these payments are sent electronically. Payments sent before 4:30PM on business days will be processed on that day. Payments sent after 4:30PM or on holidays will be sent the next business day.
Check payments - these payments are sent to the payee by check via mail. We strongly recommend scheduling check payments 7 days before your due date.
