Popular takes action to save energy. During the 90's we decided to adopt energy-saving light bulbs and these have been installed in 90% percent of our facilities. As a complement to our environmental program, we created the e-bill, e-Statement and e-Account services. In addition, we've developed environmentally-friendly branches such as the ones in Los Prados (Caguas), Humacao East and Las Piedras. We also have a program to recycle paper, magazines, newspapers and plastic in our main buildings.
