Summer Club

For those who wish to save for the summer, the Summer Club account allows you to save during the year, pays interests and has no service fees.

 

Account Features

  • $0 service charges
  • Allows you to save money throughout the year
  • Cycle starts in June 1 and ends May 31 of the following year
  • Pays interest if the average daily balance of the cycle is equal or greater than $100
  • Deposits are made by electronic transfers through TelePago Popular® or My Online Bank
  • Savings will be automatically deposited in the Banco Popular account of your choice at the end of each cycle

 

Requirements:

  • Have a Banco Popular transactional deposit account
  • Minimum amount for each electronic transfer: $10.00
  • Partial withdrawals are not permitted

 

Fees:

  • A $15 fee will apply if the account is closed within the six months of opening or during the first six months of each cycle
  • $5 for issuing a check for the payment of your Summer Club
