Now your cards have chip technology, used in more than 130 countries around the world.

If you still haven’t received your chip card, you will be receiving it before August 2017.

Why is it safer?

• Greater fraud- protection
• Each transaction generates a unique code
• The card’s information is more difficult to be copied
• Chip cards are also known as smart cards or EMV (Europay, MasterCard® and Visa®) cards.
• Your new cards are embedded with a microprocessor (chip) on the front and the traditional magnetic stripe on the back.
• Minimize falsification fraud risk when you use your card in ATMs or points of sale that accept chip technology.

• Make sure we have your mail address updated.
  You can validate your address in your most recent account statement or e-statement.
• Once you receive your card:
  Activate it on Mi Banco Online or call the number that appears in the sticker on the front of the new card.
• Remember to update your automatic or recurring payments with your new card information.

ATH® Internacional Visa

• It is important that you assign a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to carry out transactions at ATMs and points of sale.
• You can assign your PIN through Mi Banco Online or visit your favorite branch.
