U-Save is a savings account for that extra treat that will help you achieve your goal without impacting your day-to-day transactions.
1. Open a U-Save account
If you already have a Popular deposit account, you can do it from Mi Banco Online (desktop version). After you log in, click on "Open an account" in the left menu and select U-Save.
If you don’t have a deposit account with Popular, you must open one and then apply for a U-Save account.
2. Set your goal
Whether for travel, celebrating a special occasion, or whatever you want, just define your objective and set a savings goal.
3. Customize your choices / Pick your preferences / Define your settings/ Choose your saving preferences/Set your savings strategy/Customize your strategy
Select the account from which you want to transfer the funds, the amount, and the frequency (weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually). You can also define the date and the account where you want to receive the funds once you reach your savings goal.

If you have a savings and/or checking account with Banco Popular and access to Mi Banco, you can open a U-Save account in just minutes. Log in, click on “Open an account” in the left menu and select U-Save.
If you have a savings and/or checking account with Banco Popular but do not have access to Mi Banco Online, sign up today so you can open your U-Save account.
If you do not have a checking or savings account with Banco Popular, you can open an online account to enjoy the benefits of the U-Save account.

You can change the date to receive U-Save funds; free of charge at any time through Mi Banco or at a branch. A charge of $5.00 will apply if you make a partial or total withdrawal of the U-Save in one of our branches and another charge of $5.00 if you receive the money of your withdrawal in a check.
