Automatic Payment (Direct Payment)

The most convenient and efficient way to pay and ensure you don’t fall behind.

  • Select the day and the deposit account from which we will debit your payment
  • Debits will be made automatically on your chosen date
  • To sign up, just download the contract, fill it out, sign and send it to: customer.request@popular.com

Other payment channels available

  • The easiest, fastest and safest way to make your monthly payments. You can sign up with your mortgage number to have immediate access from your computer or your mobile device using the desktop option.

    • Enter Mi Banco Online and select “Make Payments”
    • Fill the information by entering your mortgage number
    • Chose the bank account from which you want to pay and the correct payment amount to complete the transaction
    • If you do not have an account with Popular, you must first register the other banking institution account you will use to make your payments
    • You can also access the periodic statements through e-Statement

  • An easy, safe and convenient way to pay from your smartphone or tablet.

    • Download the Mi Banco Mobile app
    • Register your mortgage as a payee: select the option “Mortgage, loans and leasing”
    • Fill the information by entering your mortgage number
    • Chose the bank account from which you want to pay and the correct payment amount to complete the transaction
    • If you do not have an account with Popular, you must first register the other banking institution account you will use at Mi Banco Online desktop version

  • Popular Call Center: assistance available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days.
    • Through TeleBanco you can pay various accounts at the same time and make your mortgage payments at any time. Call 787.724.3650 or 1.888.724.3650 toll free.
    • Through TelePago you can register or program recurring mortgage payments. Speak to one of our representatives or use the automated service by calling 787.724.3652 or 1.888.724.3659 toll free.

  • Make payments or obtain any information related to your mortgage from one of our mortgage professionals.

    • If you have questions related to your mortgage loan, call 787.775.1100 o 1.800.981.1982, toll free, and one of our Mortgage Servicing representatives will assist you.
    • Service hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturdays and some holidays - 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

  • Access to in-person services. Some of our branches also offer drive-through lanes for your convenience.

    • Submit the payment coupon included in your mortgage’s account statement
  • Easy Pay is a free service to make your mortgage payments though Popular’s ATMs. You are eligible to use this service if you have a deposit account with an active ATH® debit card and you have previously made payments through Mi Banco or TelePago.

    • Payment is deducted from the funds available in the deposit account linked to the card that was used in the transaction.
    • Available 24 hours. You can print a receipt of the transaction.

  • Call the Collection Call Center at 787.522.1518 and an adjuster will guide you on what payment options or agreements are available to you.

Payments made after 5:00 p.m., on weekends or holidays will be effective the next business day.
