Products & Services
Trustee, Paying Agent & Registrar The trustee is the agent of a bond issuer who handles the administrative aspects of a loan and ensures that the borrower complies with the terms of the bond indenture.
The paying agent accepts funds (dividends, coupon payments) from the issuer of a security and distributes them to that security's holders, while the registrar is the Agent that handles records for stocks and bonds. For example, a registrar could be a financial institution or a trust company which keeps the stock certificates that are due for payment for a public company.
Successor Trustee Under a deed of trust, a person or company called a trustee holds the title to the property. If that trustee resigns, another one, called the successor trustee, must be appointed.
Document Custodian It's the person or institution that holds a client's securities or other assets on his/her behalf. This reduces the risk of the client losing his/her assets or having them stolen. Assets in safekeeping are not fungible for the brokerage because they remain in the client's name.
Personal Trust t's an interest in an asset held by a trustee for the benefit of another person. The assets are managed in accordance with the Trust Agreement for the benefit of the settler or a third person.
Securities Custody Holds and manages a client's securities or other assets on his/her behalf. This reduces the risk of the client losing his/her assets or having them stolen. A custodian provides an investor a place to store assets with little risk.
